Information × Registration Number 0222U000925, 0119U103904 , R & D reports Title Assessment of tumor microenvironment components regarding invasive and metastatic potential of malignant endometrial epithelial tumors popup.stage_title Head Buchynska Liubov Н., Доктор біологічних наук Registration Date 21-01-2022 Organization R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 It was determined that in low-differentiated (G3) ECE of patients with metastases significantly increased the expression of HGF (25.1 ± 4.9%), c-MET (18.8 ± 5.5%) and miRNA-31 (11.8 ± 4,4 a.u.), and the expression of Twist (3.1 ± 1.0%) and miRNA-106b (6.4 ± 2.3 a.u.) was reduced compared to G3 tumors of patients without metastases (8,3 ± 2,6%, 2,2 ± 1,2%, 7,4 ± 2,4%, 6,1 ± 2,8 a.u., 15,8 ± 3,5 a.u. respectively). The stromal component of tumors of patients with metastases showed an increase in the content of CXCL12+, HGF+ and c-MET+ fibroblasts (15.9 ± 2.4; 24.3 ± 6.0 and 27.8 ± 6.8%, respectively) compared with their number in G3 tumors of patients without metastases (7.2 ± 1.1; 2.8 ± 1.3 and 0.9 ± 0.5% respectively). It was found that the increase in metastatic potential in ECE is due to the integral effect of high expression of HGF, c-MET in tumor cells, increased content of CXCL12+, c-Met+ and HGF+ fibroblasts in the tumor microenvironment of ECE and microRNA-31 and microRNA-106b.
