The aim of the work is to determine the methods of digital (mathematical) processing of GPR signals, designed to determine the thickness of the layers of pavement and to identify defects in the internal structure of the road by non-destructive georadar method. An analytical review of known methods of digital signal processing aimed at improving the resolution of sounding results. The use of the deconvolution method as a promising one for solving certain problems is proposed. The methods of theoretical research based on calculations using the FDTD method are used in the work. The experiments used the method of direct measurements of amplitude and time dependences and parameters of signals with subsequent calculation and analysis of characteristics. Using the high-level programming language Python 3.7, separate software modules have been created to test digital signal processing algorithms developed using the deconvolution method.Examples of calculation results show the prospects of the adopted approach.
