Research of species and genre aspects of modern culture and art, disclosure and productive forecasting of various aspects of their development and identification of further ways to enter the works of Ukrainian artists in the world art space - the priority research areas of the GDR. In particular, the genesis of transformations of fundamental cultural and artistic paradigms of the XX-XXI centuries was analyzed, the holistic picture of historical development of national culture of the XX-XXI centuries was reconstructed, taking into account creative experience of artists, features of cultural and artistic imperatives to clarify the analytical and prognostic prospects of use. The object of research is modern Ukrainian and world culture in its genre and species invariants. The subject of research is the paradigm of contemporary art and its art study, as an inversion of the fundamental artistic stratagems of modernism, postmodernism in the version of contemporary art, which forms the foundation of contemporary art.
