The implementation of these recommendations involves an integrated assessment of research and innovation activities by summarizing the indices that are determined as a result of comparing actual and future relative indicators that characterize science and innovation with their values in Ukraine as a whole. The calculated integrated indicators of financing scientific activities and investments in the work were used as a basis for the distribution of public funds to finance these areas of activity. The distribution of public funding was carried out using the proposed structural indicators. Also, the organizational and economic mechanism of state support for innovation and research has been developed, which includes organizational and economic components, as well as information and analytical support for the processes of determining and allocating public funds for science development and innovation by type of economic activity. management. According to the results of the analysis of the functioning of the branches of the national economy, the most promising ones have been identified. A "goal tree" was used to plan their development. The project also developed a roadmap, the application of which allows to increase the effectiveness of innovation by coordinating short-term, medium-term and long-term actions.
