The aim of the work is to develop appropriate mathematical models of non-stationary motion of a two-phase medium and technologies for calculating the parameters of applied aspects. Methods are a complex cycle of research, both theoretical and numerical, and experimental. The influence of various motion factors (velocity, pressure, turbulence, etc.) and properties of real fluid on the processes of formation of detachable regions, artificial (ventilated) supercavities during their closure both in the fluid and on the surface of flowing bodies is studied. It is shown that the control of the cavity by regulating the blowing is less effective than the control of the shape of the cavitator, due to the slower reaction of the cavity to the control action. A model for the transformation of low-potential energy into high-potential energy based on strongly nonequilibrium phase transitions as applied to substantiating the operation of heat pumps has been developed.
