The analysis of the results of methane studies of excavation sites, which are ventilated according to the schemes of type 2-B and 3-B, showed that it is necessary to adjust the normative rules for calculating the maximum allowable load on high-performance treatment face by gas factor taking into account high-performance degassing. Regulatory rules for calculating the required amount of air supplied to the site and the maximum allowable load on high-performance treatment face for ventilation schemes type 1-M also need to be adjusted. A list of changes and additions to the requirements for safe operation of degassing systems has been developed. Changes and additions to the requirements for safe operation of degassing systems taking into account the methods of degassing currently used in mines, modern conditions of mining, rescue and scientific and technical achievements, introduced in the first edition of NPA "Rules for designing coal degassing mines and operation of degassing systems ", which was sent for feedback. According to the results of the reviews, appropriate adjustments have been made. As a result of the work, a normative document was developed, which ensures the effective application of technologies for degassing the coal massif, the safety of gas cleaning and increased coal production, which is of great socio-economic importance.
