Registration Date 23-01-2022 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description2 The object of research is the plasma of electric arc discharges between asymmetric one-component copper and nickel electrodes. The aim of the work is to deepen the understanding of the behavior of thermal plasma with impurities of copper and nickel vapors. Research methods - optical emission spectroscopy, Boltzmann diagrams, bit gap modulation. In this work, the plasma of electric arc discharges between an asymmetric pair of one-component copper and nickel electrodes was studied by optical emission spectroscopy. Different modes of realization of such discharges are considered, namely: different variations of the spatial orientation of the electrodes and the polarity of the voltage applied to them are provided. Based on the experimentally obtained radial distributions of temperature and electron concentration, the radial distributions of the vapor content of metals of electrode origin in the plasma of the arc discharge were calculated for each configuration of the electrode assembly. Conclusions are made on the intensity of metal erosion of each element and the impact on it of changes in the spatial orientation of the electrode and the polarity of the voltage applied to them.  Product Description popup.authors Ivanisik Anatoliy I.
