Registration Date 23-01-2022 Organization Insninute of plant physiology and genetics popup.description2 It is substantiated that the promising direction of genetic and agrotechnological improvement of crops under current climate changes is to increase the activity and adaptability of the photosynthetic apparatus, as well as long-term maintenance of its functioning during the reproductive period through the use of complex stress-protective microfertilizers. It is established that the reaction of the photosynthetic apparatus to drought can characterize the drought resistance of winter wheat varieties. Under arid growing conditions, chlorophyll content, intensity of photosynthesis and leaf transpiration are the most closely positively correlated with grain productivity and can be used as physiological markers for phenotyping of winter wheat genotypes for drought resistance. The optimal methods of application of the new auxin-like herbicide galauxifen-methyl (Heliantex) for sunflower crops have been determined. In crops of sunflower hybrids resistant to acetolactate synthase inhibitors (ALS), the use of mixtures of galauxifen-methyl with herbicides derived from imidazolinone increases the effectiveness of control of particularly harmful weeds ragweed and common ragweed. It has been shown that the use of herbicide based on galaxifen methyl and ALS inhibitor florasulam (Kvelex) in winter wheat crops as well as the herbicide based on ALS inhibitors rimsulfuron and and nicosulfuron (Titus Extra) in maize crops is more efficient with adjuvant Serfer than with adjuvant Trend 90. It was found that in drought conditions the addition of the adjuvant Electron to herbicides from the class of graminicides fluazifop-P-butyl (Fusilade Forte) and propachisafop (Agil) increases the effectiveness of control of gramineous weeds.
