Objective: to improve the system of medical and social monitoring of physical development of school-age children and prevention of its violations based on determining the peculiarities of puberty in adolescents in modern society. Methods: clinical-anamnestic, psychological, biochemical, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, statistical. Results: It is proved that the presence of chronic diseases (endocrine, gynecological, cardiac, rheumatic, mental) negatively affect the somato sex development of school-age children and contribute to the formation of disharmonious physical development. It was found that at the stages of puberty most often deviations in growth and body weight are observed in early puberty (100,0%), slightly less often - in prepuberty and puberty itself (respectively: 78,57% and 75,51%). It was find that among disharmonious disorders, body weight disorders predominate (65,6%). The most significant social factors concerning disturbances of physical development of students in the conditions of a modern society was allocate. Additions have been make to the system of medical and psychological support of school-age children, which include correction of risk factors influencing the development of somatosexual development disorders in both healthy schoolchildren and children with psychosomatic pathology. Novelty: For the first time a set of measures aimed at eliminating risk factors that can lead to the development and progression of physical development disorders of school-age children on the background of chronic psychosomatic diseases. Effectiveness: Additions have been make to the system of medical and psychological support of school-age children, which include the correction of risk factors influencing the development of somato sex disorders in both healthy students and children with psychosomatic pathology.
