The aim of the work was to develop methods for the synthesis of catalysts for the oxidative destruction of residues of different types of pharmaceuticals and combined metal catalysts for the synthesis of hypochlorous acid from low-concentrated chloride-containing solutions. Research methods – stationary and cyclic voltammetry, spectrophotometry in ultraviolet and visible regions, high-performance liquid chromatography, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction. A new method for the synthesis of an electrocatalyst based on PbO2, jointly modified with additives of various functional purposes, for direct oxidative destruction of selected groups of pharmaceuticals, as well as the latest combined method for the synthesis of a metal catalyst modified with platinum metals for the synthesis of hypochlorous acid from low concentrated chloride-containing solutions.
