PERCEPTUAL-INFORMATIONAL PROCESSES, PERCEPTUAL-MNESTIC FIXATION, UNCONSCIOUS LEVEL, LEVEL OF HAPPINESS, AFFECTIVE DISORDERS, SUICIDAL EXPERIENCES, AUTODESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR, MOTIVATION, ASSOCIATIVE PROCESSES Object of study: perceptual-informational processes of the unconscious level in the norm and in mental pathology. The purpose of the study of 2021: to study the effects of subsensory stimulation on the processes of associating, taking into account the characteristics of current experiences and motivations in patients with affective disorders, and to develop criteria for assessing the risk of self-destructive behavior. Research methods: theoretical analysis, psychodiagnostic method, experimental-psychological method, method of expert assessments, mathematical and statistical methods. Based on the results of research, a set of seven novel experimental-psychological techniques was developed, the application of which allowed to obtain scientifically argued data on the patterns of functioning of conscious and unconscious perceptual-informational processes. For the first time, the effect of perceptual-mnestic fixation of subsensory stimuli has been isolated and objectified. The individual psychological features (adaptive resources, characteristics of emotional and motivational spheres) of patients with various forms of mental disorders are determined and the analysis of their connections with the level of subjective perception of happiness is carried out. In patients with affective disorders, the thresholds of visual perception of verbal stimuli are more than threefold worse than normal. The existence of the effect of directed and controlled positive influence of unconscious stimuli on the processes of genesis of associative reactions is objectified. The presence of a complex cluster of pathopsychological formations, which includes increased but hidden or unconscious significance of suicidal experiences, has been created.
