The purpose of the work is to assess the impact of changes in agroclimatic conditions on the formation of millet productivity, assessment of photosynthetic productivity of millet in Ukraine in connection with climate change. Research methods - patterns of influence of agrometeorological conditions on the growth, development and formation of millet productivity, assessment of agro-climatic resources of Ukraine in relation to millet cultivation. This paper analyzes the trend of climate change by comparing the average long-term characteristics of meteorological and agrometeorological indicators for the periods of climate change scenarios. The source information was the regional data of observations on the network of hydrometeorological and agrometeorological stations of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Service, data of hydrometeorological parameters implemented in the regional climate model RACMO2, which combines physical schemes developed by the European Center for HIRLAM models. The basic model of estimation of agroclimatic resources of formation of productivity of agricultural crops is used as a theoretical basis. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: - to study the influence of agrometeorological conditions on millet productivity; - estimate the spatio-temporal variability of millet yield; - to characterize the agrometeorological conditions for the formation of millet productivity in Ukraine; - to study the impact of climate change on the formation of millet productivity by comparing data on climate change scenarios and average long-term characteristics of climate and agroclimatic indicators. - perform a comprehensive assessment of agro-climatic conditions for growing crops and conduct agro-climatic zoning of Ukraine in relation to millet culture.
