Electrophysiological and strain gauge experiments on isolated cardiomyocytes and vascular strips, respectively, showed a significant increase in effects through KATP channels, which may indicate an increase in their density on cell membranes. Experiments with ischemia-reperfusion of an isolated heart, the study of the opening of mPTP (mitochondrial permeability transition pore), and the determination of biochemical parameters showed an increase in cardioprotective effects in these animals.
