The subject of the research is the qualification characteristics of positions and professions of social services workers in Ukraine, which are included in Issue 80 “Social Services” of the State Committee for Social Services. The purpose of the study is to develop an updated Issue 80 "Social Services" DKHP. Research methods - synthesis, surveys, comparisons, systematic approach, quantitative and qualitative analysis of documents, expert assessments, comparisons, etc. As a result of the research, an updated draft of Issue 80 “Social Services” of the SCHP was prepared. The main results of the study, which contain scientific novelty are: 1. Qualification characteristics projects have been developed: “Social Manager”, “Community Mediator”, “Director of the Regional Center for Social Services”, “Training Specialist” and “Social Supervision Specialist”. 2. Analysis of the current legislation of Ukraine on reforming the system of social services and local government, regulatory and technical documentation governing the use of professions and positions in the social sphere, as well as legislation on education from 2016 to October 2021, which updated the qualifications of relevant occupations of employees in Issue 80 "Social Services" DKHP. 3. Implementation of the distribution of Issue 80 "Social Services" DKHP in 2 sections according to the areas of management between the Ministry of Social Policy (Section 1) and the Ministry of Economic Development (Section 2). 4. Making additions to the current qualification characteristics in the amount of more than 240 proposals based on the results of a survey of experts on the status of the current issue 80 "Social Services" DKHP.
