Registration Date 25-01-2022 Organization Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  For the first time, the isomeric yields ratios and flux-weighted average yields were measured for the 177Lum,g creation in the (γ,α) - and for the 178Lum,g production in the (γ,pn)-reactions at the bremsstrahlung end-point energies of Egr = 37 and 55 MeV, respectively. To evaluate the mechanisms for the 180Hf(γ,pn)178Lum,g and 181Ta(γ,α)177Lum,g reactions, it was studied in the framework of the EMPIRE-3.2 code. No agreement was reached between experiment and theory, so it can be said that a non-statistical mechanism is dominant for both reactions. The flux-weighted average yields were measured for the first time for the nuclear reactions of 178Hf(γ,p)177Lu at Ebr = 17.5 and 20 MeV, natHf(γ,pxn)177Lu at Ebr = 37 MeV and natHf(γ,pxn)177Lu, 179Hf(γ,pn)177Lu 180Hf (γ, p2n) 177Lu at Egr = 55 MeV. The prospects of the 177Lu production which is used in nuclear medicine, are shown, on electron accelerators that generate bremsstrahlung in a wide range of energies on targets of natural isotope hafnium. For the first time, the flux-weighted average yields of the 179m2Hf and 180mHf creation were measured in the (γ,γ') reactions at the bremsstrahlung end-point energies of 17.5, 20, 37 and 55 MeV. The existence of the second resonance in the excitation function for the 180Hf(γ,γ')180Hfm reaction was confirmed and its existence was discovered for the first time for the 179Hf(γ,γ')179Hfm2 reaction at the bremsstrahlung end-point energies of 20 MeV.
