P. Semenenko Institute of geochemistry, mineralogy and ore formation popup.description2 The relevance of scientific work lies in the need to systematize data on the genesis and ore-bearing capacity of ultrabasite-base complexes, the need to study their composition by modern high-precision research methods (ICP-MS, isotope and microprobe) to apply modern methods of geochemical reconstruction and identify the most promising associated minerals - Ni, Cr, Co, V, Ti, precious metals and diamonds. The general research plan included field geological studies of outcrops of ultrabasite-basite complexes, sampling of bore hole and geological data processing, which included petrographic study of thin section of rocks and polished section of rocks. The composition of minerals and rocks was studied by petrographic, microprobe, chemical (wet chemistry and X-ray phase analysis) and ICP-MS methods in the laboratories of IGMOF NAS of Ukraine and abroad. According to the results of these studies, the microelement composition of early Precambrian ultrabasite-basite complexes of the Middle Dnieper and Azov Megablocks is characterized, reconstruction of geodynamic modes of their formation by modern methods is performed, the content of ore elements in them is investigated.
