 The training aims to familiarization of candidates to winterers of еру Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition with scientific and engineering history of the Ukrainian Antarctic Station "AkademikVernadsky" (UAS); scientific and engineering equipment of the UAS; basic principles of research carried out at UAS; features of life, work and safety in Antarctic conditions; legal aspects of life in Antarctica; features of preparation, procurements, payments and other differences of specified expedition, as well as presentation of work programs of each of the candidates for the year; psychological testing and training of candidates; and in the acquaintance of candidates with each other.
