The paper investigates the gnoseological nature of internal threats to national security as a deterrent to sustainable development of Ukraine. Proposals on the elimination of social inequality and reduction of population outflow to other countries, which should be reflected in the national socio-economic policy of the state, were substantiated. The state, problems and proposed possible ways of improving the economic component of sustainable development of Ukraine were studied. The role of human capital in the constant growth and increasing the competitiveness of the state economy was determined. The directions of reforming the system of education and science in the preparation of personnel (human capital) for innovation. The safety and quality of products as a factor of growth of competitiveness of enterprises on the domestic and world markets was analyzed. It is shown that the formation of the food security system is a determinant of sustainable development of Ukraine. The euro-integration aspects of environmental security are investigated and proposals on possible ways of minimizing technogenic-environmental hazards are provided. The results of the study were used in the preparation of monographs / sections of collective monographs, scientific articles, abstracts, student research papers; in the development and implementation in the educational process of the State Tax University (SFU) teaching materials, working programs of academic disciplines, lecture courses, guidelines for seminars and organization of independent work of students in the academic disciplines assigned to the department.
