The aim of the work is to improve the method of total energy consumption of products by proposing methodological approaches to determine the individual components: direct energy intensity of products taking into account all types of secondary energy resources produced in the process and distribution of total energy costs; full energy intensity through energy consumption, taking into account the improved methodological approach to determining the energy intensity of labor costs, fixed assets, environmental measures in the production of products. The report presents the following research results: improved method, as well as updated methods and tools for calculating the total energy intensity of products, determining its forecast indicators when replacing existing technologies; development of changes to the existing standard "Methods for determining the total energy intensity of products, works and services". Scientific novelty is the addition and expansion of the method of determining the total energy intensity of products, works and services with new and improved algorithms of components of total energy intensity of multiproduct products with the definition of total energy distribution, which will allow more widespread use of energy efficiency in various industries.
