The purpose of the work creation of new methods of processing the results of measurements in the near zone of the scattering characteristics of the object of complex shape object and the synthesis of recommended means / methods in order to reduce the visibility of the studied object in the far zone. Research Methods new methods of combining experimental results with the results of numerical simulation of wave scattering on complex objects are being developed. Previously created and implemented methods have also been expanded and significantly improved to solve new problems. The decomposition method of measuring the reflection coefficient from areas of complex terrestrial objects is planned to be used for experimental determination of data on the studied object to build its scattering model. Techniques for calculating the diffraction of waves on various structures, applied to the analysis of the properties of materials used (or can be used) to create an absorbing coating. Results: The method of calculating the scattering characteristics of electromagnetic waves on objects of complex shape is presented. Using this method, the scattering characteristics of typical reference reflectors are obtained, these characteristics generally coincide with the dependences obtained under the same conditions with analytical methods. The definition of the radar cross-section is considered, the formulas for the system of two-point scatterers and N scatterers are also derived. Numerical calculations performed according to these equations are presented. A model of a real object is created using different positions of several point reflectors, which can be further used in modeling complex structures.
