The object of research is the formation of young goats and the process of analyzing their origin and growth. Research methods - zootechnical, genetic-population, laboratory, biometric statistics using computer and software. The studied herd of the farm "Dooobra farm" of Kyiv region is formed from goats of different origin of Zaanen breed and in its type. In 2021, the live weight of kids at birth was 3.2 kg. Live weight of goats in 1 month was 11.1 ± 0.56 kg, goats - 9.9 ± 0.21. At 2 months, goats (27 heads) weighed 15.9 ± 0.73 kg (elite class), and goats (74 heads) - 13 ± 0.22 kg. At the end of watering goats had a live weight of an average of 18.5 ± 1.00 kg, goats - 15.2 ± 0.22 kg. With age, the difference between kids increases, especially goats. Live weight of 74 goats at 7 months was 27 ± 0.53 kg (min - 17 kg, max - 35 kg), goats (13 heads) - 35.8 ± 1.15 kg (min - 29 kg, max - 44 kg). At 7 months, the body structure of the young was assessed. The period of their feeding had a significant effect on the intensity of goat growth. Thus, the duration of the lactation period of 92-100 days provided the average daily gain from birth to the end of the study period at the level of 124.9 g, 82-91 - 107.5 g, and 72-81 days - 95.7 g. before weaning or 3 months of age, depending on the genotype of the father, type of birth, sex, live weight, duration of the lactation period. Regularities and dynamics of growth of breeding young goats of dairy breeds from birth to 7 months under the influence of various factors are determined. The efficiency of watering kids for at least 3 months has been proven. A database on the origin and growth of young animals has been formed. Based on the obtained research results, recommendations for the analysis of the origin of goats, the level and dynamics of growth of young animals have been developed.
