Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The completed stage is devoted to the study of the processes of the self-organization of the substance of vacuum condensates during their annealing. It is shown that annealing of one- and two-component films is a convenient way to create self-ordered arrays of metal particles with rather narrow dimensional and concentration distributions. There have been obtained dimensional dependencies of substrate filling coefficients with a film, the most probable particle size, FWHM of histograms of their size distribution, excess energy, which is a physical factor of the dispergation, particle density and average area, from which film substance is collected for the formation of the single particle. The complex nature of these dependencies indicates the existence of several competing dispergation mechanisms. It is established that the dispergation of initially continuous polycrystalline films is initiated by the energy of inter-granular boundaries, which is only about 1% of the total value of the energy which is optimized during dispergation. It has been shown that bismuth, condensed onto polycrystalline metal films, forms a coherent system of inclusions that is preserved even after melting. Arrays of bismuth metal particles in such systems can be created by condensing it into the liquid phase. The obtained results will be used in the next stages of the project to elucidate the physical mechanisms of liquid phase formation in composites and to solve the applied task, which is to modify functional structures by applying an array of metal particles on them. The results on the formation of stable structures based on bismuth look useful for the development of technologies of lead-free solders designed to work under conditions of significant temperature load.
