The principles of planning the balanced development of natural and anthropogenic systems, including riverbeds and floodplains, are considered. An example is given of general approaches and principles of planning in the field of interaction between society and nature, in particular integrated planning of water and land resources. Methods of identification of control objects, analysis of their development processes with the use of GIS technologies, methods of assessing the state of the hydromorphological landscape, methods of assessing water quality are revealed. The identification of the young river landscape of the Siret River within the Chernivtsi region has been carried out. The regularities of their development in natural and anthropogenically changed conditions are revealed, the estimation of their current state is given. The modern system of management of the young river landscape of Siret is considered, the scientific principles of planning of management of the young river landscape and taking into account features of goal-setting and the corresponding recommendations are offered. A database on the young river landscape of Siret has been formed.
