Research methods - used general scientific and special for economics methods and approaches that meet the objectives of the study, namely: historical, abstract-logical, structural-logical, systematization, classification and generalization, economic-statistical, economic modeling, comparative analysis, the method of strategic analysis, economic forecasting and graphical method. The development of methodological bases has been carried out and proposals have been made to assess the development of the competitive environment in the sectors of transport and energy infrastructure in the national market of services. An assessment of the impact of globalization and liberalization on the development of a competitive environment in the infrastructure sectors and the effectiveness of their operation. The EU experience in developing a competitive environment in the transport and energy infrastructure sectors is disclosed and summarized; the impact of property reform in the transport and energy infrastructure sectors on the development of the competitive environment has been assessed; estimates of the ratio of competition and monopolization in the sectors of transport and energy infrastructure in the national market of services. The impact of state regulation on the development of the competitive environment in the transport and energy infrastructure sectors has been assessed and proposals have been made on ways to optimize state regulation in these sectors.
