Objective: Development and improvement of the methodology of interaction of electric power and district heating systems in the case of using electric heat generators (EHG) in district heating systems as a means of compacting dialy schedule of electric loads (DSEL) in power systems in terms of developing specific models and algorithms for such interaction. A necessary condition for the use of this methodology is the coordination of their interaction in terms of improving the efficiency and controllability of work. Results of work and their novelty: As a result of the performed researches the following main results were obtained: development and improvement of the methodology of interaction of electric power and district heating systems was carried out; in the conducted researches it is offered to apply in the IPS new foundations of management of its mode. According to this foundations, it is possible to use the automatically controlled load of EHG complexes as the main means of regulating the mode in the variable part of the DSEL. The new foundations is based on the use of automatically controlled loading of EHG complexes in the means of automatically controlled load, which provides the ability to perform DSEL compaction processes in such a way as to achieve high energy, economic and environmental efficiency of the IPS and form the latter self-sufficiency. normalized primary capacity reserve 1000 MW.
