The object of the study is heterogeneous geospatial data obtained by remote sensing (RS) systems of the Earth. The subject of the study is the methods of complex analysis of heterogeneous geospatial data obtained by remote sensing systems. The purpose of the study is to increase the efficiency of RS methods for solving the problems of rational nature management to achieve the goals of sustainable development, in particular, the preservation of terrestrial ecosystems. This goal is planned to be achieved by improving the known and developing new methods of interactive work with multispectral and radar satellite data, their comprehensive analysis and interpretation, taking into account the information content of other available geospatial data. The paper presents a new paradigm for solving problems of sustainable development by RS methods. The analysis of modern approaches to estimation and increase of informativeness of aerospace images is carried out.
