Wave images from the PANCAKE and RomUkrSeis PES profiles were obtained and interpreted, which clearly demonstrate the shape and internal structure of the system of deep submerged sedimentary depressions on the outskirts of the Eastern European platform. A new tectonic model based on the PANCAKE GES profile was built using a set of geophysical methods, which provided additional information on the architecture of the Carpathian orogenic structure, the upper crust, the nature of the Moho border and the upper part of the mantle.
