Teaching students health in the physical education system includes not only the process of acquiring special knowledge and vital competencies, but also the formation of relevant values, the result of which is their ability to independently "manage" their health, conduct diagnostic, preventive and, if necessary, rehabilitation and corrective measures. Designing student health education requires the development and implementation of health technologies in the educational process and physical education system. The purpose of the research is to scientifically substantiate the theoretical foundations of health care, to reveal the content and technologies of health care from the standpoint of their pedagogical and physical nature. To solve this goal, the research objectives are defined: 1) on the basis of analysis and generalization of scientific literature on pedagogy, physical education and psychology to reveal the essence of the concepts of "health technologies", "health technologies", "health technologies"; 2) scientifically substantiate the theoretical foundations of health; 3) to reveal and characterize the technologies of health care from the standpoint of their pedagogical and physical essence; 4) to develop, theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the system of health technologies in the conditions of Poltava Polytechnic.
