The purpose of the work is to theoretically substantiate and empirically investigate the socio-psychological resources of the subject of socialization in modern transformational conditions.Research methods - theoretical: analysis, synthesis, generalization, classification and systematization of modern scientific and empirical research; empirical: psychodiagnostic methods, surveys, questionnaires, observations, interviews, consultative conversation; methods of mathematical data processing with their subsequent qualitative interpretation and meaningful generalization. Results and their novelty: the theoretical data on socialization of the person are expanded, the role of social and psychological resources of development of potential of the person in modern transformational conditions is defined; the peculiarities of perception of one's own age as a socio-psychological resource of successful adaptation of personality are substantiated; current issues of loneliness and interpersonal trust, life satisfaction, manifestations of perfectionism and escapism, tolerance of uncertainty, the attitude of modern women to the physical self, as well as the correlates of gender stereotypes in the modern world; the conditions of social and psychological support of personal and professional growth of future specialists during study at the university as resources of socialization of the personality are improved. The results of the research were introduced into the work of the social and psychological service of Oles Honchar DNU; when teaching courses "Differential Psychology", "Psychology of Professional Formation and Career Growth", "Psychological Special Workshop by Specializations", "Psychology of Conflicts", "Psychology of Organizations". Field of application: the results of the study can be used in the preparation of psychological support programs and implemented in the educational process.
