Registration Date 31-01-2022 Organization Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  The flux-weighted average yields for the 181Ta(γ,p)180mHf reaction were measured for bremsstrahlung γ-quanta in the energy region from 20 to 55 MeV for the first time. The theoretical yields modeled within the framework of free source software turned out to be much lower than the experimental values. However, taking into account the isospin splitting of the giant dipole resonance within the semi-direct mechanism, quantitative agreement of experimental and theoretical yields for this reaction is achieved. For the first time, the flux-weighted average yields of the 180mHf and 182mHf population in the (γ,α)-reactions were obtained at the bremsstrahlung end-point energies of Ebr = 40 and 55 MeV at the natural tungsten targets. The simulation was performed within the program code TALYS-1.9, from which it follows that the mechanism of these reactions is not statistical, because the theoretical yields remain lower than the experimental values by about 3 orders of magnitude. It is qualitatively shown that the mechanism of the 184W(γ,α)180mHf and 186W(γ,α)182mHf reactions is to the fast direct ejecting of α-particle with the subsequent statistical decay of the residual nucleus. The reactions on the boron and beryllium targets were studied at Ebr = 20, 40 and 55 MeV. Thus, at Ebr = 20 MeV, the 10B(γ,t)7Be reaction was investigated. Confirmation of the completely direct mechanism of this reaction is that its simulated yield is 3 orders of magnitude lower than the experimental value.
