The device for digital image recording in the analytical transmission electron microscope (TEM) consists of an image forming unit on a scintillator crystal with a prismatic mirror, a digital camera with a photo adapter, an interface unit and a personal computer During the work, the interface unit of the device for digital image registration in TEM, SCAN and STEM modes have been developed and manufactured. Depending on the type of operation, the signal is transmitted to the corresponding input of the unit. In the TEM mode, the image, which is formed on the YAG crystal through a prismatic mirror and a photo adapter, enters the CCD camera matrix. Then the signal from the digital camera goes to the interface unit and the personal computer. In “SCAN” and “STEM” modes, the analog signal from the ASID-4 is fed to the input "SCAN / STEM". After the analog signal is converted by the ADC unit, the digital signal is transmitted to the computer. SEO Captuer and SEO ImageLab are used to further process the digital signal and obtain a digital image. The device is designed to improve the performance of the analytical transmission electron microscope and meets high national standards. In modern microscopes, CCD cameras of various manufacturers (Gatan, Olympus and others) are widely used for digital recording of images in the microscope in TEM mode. There are also no manufacturers in Ukraine of analog-to-digital converters that can be used for STEM and SCAN transmission electron microscopes. The cost of such a kit is hundreds of thousands of US dollars. Abandonment of photographic materials and their treatment with photochemicals will limit sewage pollution and have a positive impact on the environment.
