The aim of the work is to improve the technical performance of drones: flight range, load capacity, speed and shunting characteristics through the improvement of electrical and electro-mechanical systems; sharing several energy sources. The scientific work is based on an integrated approach to solving a number of technical problems and approaches to improving the power supply system of drones, related to the modernization of their mechanical and electrical components using original and patented solutions. The integration of individual energy sources and engines into a single electro-mechanical system is based on simulation and mathematical modeling approaches to ensure the required level of electromagnetic compatibility and efficiency, taking into account the characteristics of drones. The scientific novelty of the work is based on the development of the original design of FROM and specialized methods of space-time modulation, coordination of modes of operation of energy sources and motors in static and dynamic mode. As a result of the research, a new design of the valve-induction motor operating at intermediate high frequency, electric drive and its power supply system was developed. The implementation of the proposed solutions provides an opportunity to improve the technical performance of the drone, which is built on the basis of the developed engine: load capacity and range - 2 times, a significant improvement in speed and maneuverability. The obtained results and scientific and technical developments correspond to the current level and world trends of transforming technology. The main areas of application of the proposed technical solutions are the transport and aviation industries.
