In addition to local action, it has a systemic effect, which is manifested in the tendency to normalize the quantitative and qualitative indicators of blood cells, the level of prooxidant activity of blood and detoxification ability of erythrocytes. Enterosorption using carbon fibrous enterosorbents showed a marked corrective effect on the histological structure of the skin after total irradiation of rats at a dose of 6 Gy, while in the combined radiation-thermal trauma effect of enterosorption was incomparably smaller than local action. A method for obtaining micropanoparticles (MNP) of activated carbon with high adsorption potential for markers of low, medium and high molecular weight of hydrophilic and hydrophobic nature has been developed. The technology of preparation of stable monodisperse suspensions of carbon MNР (radius of 1125 nm) has been developed. It was found that the interaction of carbon MNРs with albumin is dynamic, and the association constant indicates a low affinity between carbon and protein. The absence of cytotoxic action of carbon particles on normal mammalian cell lines of different histogenesis was established. Intraperitoneal administration of a suspension of carbon particles has not been shown to cause acute toxicity (LD50 not established) and genotoxicity in experimental animals. The high antioxidant and radioprotective potential of carbon particles has been established. In the conditions of radiation irradiation of rats at a dose of 6 Gy with intraperitoneal administration of a suspension of carbon MNР at a dose of 1.6 mg / kg, a significant acceleration of leukocytes and lymphocytes, increased SOD and catalase activity in liver and blood, reduced oxidative modification of proteins (AOPP, IMA – in blood) and lipids (HPL, MDA – in liver and blood).
