Special attention is paid to the study of invertebrates and vertebrates, lower and higher plants, their populations in the nature reserve "Roztochchya" and development of scientific foundations preservation. According to meteorological observations, the duration of the seasons was as follows: winter lasted 90 days, which was 25%; spring - 103 days (28%), summer - 89 days (24%), autumn - 86 days (23%). According to the results of floristic research in 2021, a new botanical description of 25 new localities of 21 species of higher vascular plants and one new cenopopulation of Epipactis palustris was discovered. The paper presents the results of counting the number of vertebrates with photo traps, with the help of visual observations by the method of point counting with fixing coordinates. The Android ObsMapp application was used to collect and store information, with the subsequent import of observations into the SMART system. Maps based on accounting results were built. Entomologists have identified 93 species of membranous wings in the reserve: 76 species of bees and 17 species of aspens.
