VI Vernadsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Object of research: removal of valuable and toxic components from liquids of biogenic and technogenic origin by sorption and membrane methods, synthesis, composition, morphological features and separation properties of composite sorbents and membranes. Subject of research: composite sorbents and membranes, the novel carbon nanomaterials, hydrated metal oxides, biopolymers, whey, heavy metal solutions. The aim of the study was to create composite sorption and membrane materials with optimal pore size and shape, hydrophilic-hydrophobic properties and high sorption capacity for the extraction of toxic and valuable components from liquids of biogenic and human origin. A chemical method for the synthesis of biochar has been developed, which, unlike the known ones, does not involve heat treatment at elevated temperatures. Samples of biochar obtained from both disaccharides and polysaccharides are characterized by the adsorption capacity of pesticides. Oxygen-containing groups: provide adsorption of dyes. More hydrophilic biochar from disaccharide is used to synthetized composites that prolong the action of mineral fertilizers. Less hydrophilic is used to synthetize magnetic sorbents designed to remove petroleum products from water surfaces. Composite sorbents based on zirconium dioxide modified with oxidized graphene were synthesized, composites were used for the first time to achieve a high degree of demineralization of whey (98-99%), which is achieved by integrating sorption into the process of electromembrane separation. Anodized oxidized aluminum membranes modified with oxidized graphene have been used for dialysis serum desalination: they provide retention of globular proteins weighing more than 40 kDa. Such membranes are used in industrial conditions. A method for the synthesis of composite sorbents selective for Li + ions has been developed. Unlike those known, sorbents can be used in sorption columns. Product Description popup.authors Gaygay Olga G. Diamant Viktor А. Dzyazko Yuliya S. Dubrovina Liubov V. Koval Lyudmila B.
