PCR identification of the virus carried out at Mendelian University showed the presence of the pathogen on both plants with symptoms of lesions and asymptomatic plants. Double phytosanitary selection showed the presence of plants with symptoms of Pinot Gris virus infestation in clonal research areas, uterine plantations and the practical absence of affected plants in the clone bank in the greenhouse. A study of the temporal and spatial distribution of the Pinot Gris virus within a single plot showed an increase in the number of bushes with visual symptoms during the 2021 growing season and the presence of a potential vector, Colomerus vitis (PAGENSTECHER, 1857), but no characteristic gradient was observed on affected bushes. In the area as a whole and in rows, which suggests an increase in the number of diseased plants due to the affected planting material. Due to insignificant levels of damage, which did not exceed 0.3% on the rootstock variety Riparia x Rupestris 101-14 and 0.4% on rootstock varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Rkatsiteli producers of planting material of biological categories are invited to conduct annual visual inspection during the first sanitary selection in May - June and the second sanitary selection in August with selective laboratory control once every 5 years on the bank of clones and queen cells of the biological category "basic". Key words: uncommon viral diseases of grapes, Pinot Gris virus, visual sanitary selection, PCR, multiple PCR Product Description popup.authors Karastan Olga M Slysarenko Olexandr M popup.nrat_date 2022-03-09 Close
