It consists in conducting daily sessions of TTT four days in a row with an interval between courses of treatment of 2-3 months during the year. A combined method of treatment of ciliochoroidal melanoma was developed. It consists of blockexcision with a radio-wave knife and preliminary brachytherapy with reduced doses (220-400 g), which reduces radiation exposure by 1.5-2 times compared to radiation therapy in its pure form,. It also allows to avoid radiation complications and increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with this pathology to 85.7% [Patent of Ukraine № 143392, 2020, Bull. № 14]. Blockexcision with preliminary brachytherapy by reduced doses allows to expand the indications for organ-preserving treatment of patients with iridociliary and ciliochoroidal melanomas with tumor basis up to 11.0 mm and heigh up to 9,0 mm, to increase the effectiveness of organ-preserving treatment of patients with UM complicated of secondary glaucoma in 15.6% and 17.8% of cases, respectively, preserve the eye and baseline visual acuity. The effectiveness (complete resorption of the tumor) of the developed methods of CD treatment of EM and EC was 62.5% and 91.7%, respectively, RCD treatment - 78.5% and 73.7 Ultrasound examination showed that the thickness of the sclera under the tumor in all hystological types of tumors is less than on the contralateral side by an average of 17.9%. At EM and EK moderate echogenicity of a tumor (p = 0,006) meets more often. Product Description popup.authors Elagina Viktoria A. Bogdanova Oleksandra V. Boyko Nadya O. Borisova Marina I.
