The aim of the work is establishment of influence of structure and component composition of investigated objects on their physical properties, and use of obtained results in practice. Modern methods of investigations were used in this work, such as: scanning tunneling and atomic force microscopy, electron and optical microscopy, mass-spectroscopy. The method of molecular dynamics (MD) and DFT calculation were used for theoretical modeling. Based on obtained results the set of practically important methods was designed: 1) method of synthesis of noble metal nanoparticles with determined geometry (plasmonics); 2) Catalyst production method based on wolfram carbide WC і W2C (catalysts); 3) Catalyst production method based on MgO-Al2O3 functionalized by La and Ce (catalysts); 4) method for hanging mirrors of surface scatterin of conduction electrons in adsorption W(001)-2D system (spintronics); In the frames of the wort the set of theoretical results were obtained: 1) atomic and electronic structures of W and Mo surfaces were calculated; 2) the mechanism of reconstruction of W(001) surface is elucidated; 3) Fermi surfaces and magneto resistance of H/Mo(110) system are calculated; 4) the structure influence of submonolayer oxygen films on workfunction of Мо(112) surface is elucidated; 5) the metallic states is revealed in layered CdTe – HgTe – CdTe structure is revealed.
