An analysis of the epizootic situation, research on the persistence of pathogen spores in different soil types and risk assessment of anthrax outbreaks in Ukraine, taking into account climatic and geographical features. A number of monitoring studies have been conducted using new approaches to creating a statistical model of the spread of anthrax in case of occurrence. The constructed models for the anthrax pathogen show that the vast majority of the territory of Ukraine under these environmental conditions is able to maintain the persistence of B. anthracis in the soil.
