Registration Date 03-02-2022 Organization Oles Honchar Dnipro National University popup.description2 The object of research - alien species of plants and animals of different landscapes and types of habitats.The purpose of the work is to determine the biological and ecological features and invasive potential of foreign organisms to create a project of the Cadastre of alien species of flora and fauna of the steppe zone of Ukraine.Research methods - field research, methods for determination allelopathic activity and antioxidant status, reflectance spectroscopy, colorimetry, biometrics.For the first time a list of alien and invasive species of vascular plants, aquatic organisms and herpetofauna with their bioecological characteristics by composition of ecomorphs, geographical areas and classification of alien elements for the steppe zone of Ukraine. The greatest danger to the region's biodiversity is the highest degree of naturalization of the group of invasive plant species, which play the role of edificators in phytocenoses and can change some environmental indicators (humidity, lighting, humidity, soil parameters). Among the features of physiological characteristics of alien plant species, allelopathic activity and spectral characteristics of flowers were studied, and for alien aquatic organisms - antioxidant status as a criterion of adaptive potential under anthropogenic load.The results obtained in this work can be used for effective management of invasive processes in order to reduce the negative social consequences and economic losses.Areas of application: environmental management, environmental safety, forestry, water management, invasive ecology.
