An innovative technique for adhesive joints using spatially ordered graphene nanocomposites has been proposed. Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and mechanical tests have shown that the polymerization of thin (up to 10 μm) layers of nanocomposites under uniaxial pressure leads to the ordering of graphene planes in the composite layer and increases the strength of adhesive joints 3 times per shift. The technique can be used in the aviation industry and other special applications. It was found that the addition of small amounts (≤ 1 wt.%) Of thermally reduced graphene oxide in amorphous polymers (polystyrene and polyester resin) and semi-crystalline (polypropylene and polyethylene) leads to modification of the structure and changes in the dynamics of polymer chains, accompanied by micro . The high elasticity of the studied nanocomposites at low temperatures was revealed, which is due to the adsorption activity of nitrogen and the formation of local fibrillar-porous nanostructures (crazes) with a high level of elastic aftereffect. This phenomenon can be used in the aerospace and cryogenic industries when using nanocomposite products in a wide temperature range and under high loads.
