The subject of the research is the mechanism of development of the energy service market in the context of increasing the energy efficiency of the national economy, the level of energy and environmental security of Ukraine. The purpose of the project is to develop a modern mechanism and provide proposals for the development of the energy service market in the context of improving the energy efficiency of the national economy, the level of energy and environmental security of Ukraine. Research methods - historical and logical; factor analysis; scientific knowledge; induction, deduction, comparison, systematization; analysis and synthesis; dialectical method; structural and dynamic analysis. Results and their novelty: The scientific novelty of the research results is to deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations of the mechanism of energy market development in the context of improving the energy efficiency of the national economy, energy and environmental security of Ukraine and develop practical recommendations for such a mechanism. For the first time, organizational and economic support of the mechanism of energy service market development through the implementation of joint measures of the state, business, local authorities on the functioning of the energy service market is proposed; the concept of developing the energy service market was formed; the model of interaction of subjects of the energy service market in the virtual environment is developed; the method of estimating the efficiency of energy service companies is proposed; a roadmap for the implementation of the concept of developing the energy service market by building a management system for innovative development of the energy service company.
