The negative electrode composite was a balanced mixture of nanoporous carbon, nanosized lithium titanate (Li4Ti5O12, LTO) and nanosized SPLi carbon black as an electrically conductive additive as well as a binder. Mixtures of nanosized lithium manganate (LiMn2O4, LMO) with nanoporous carbon, nanosized SPLi and binder were investigated for the composite positive electrode. The range of operating potentials of such composite electrodes in aprotic electrolytes were determined and the possibility of their use in hybrid current sources with high specific energy and specific power was shown.
