The regularities of metal homogenization while oxidizing gas mixture blowing in the teeming ladle and during the addition of alloys into the mold, as well as the floating of deoxidation products in the mold during and right after pouring. The object of research is the technology of ultra-low carbon steel production, in particular its ladle processing and casting. The purpose of the work is the development of technology for the production of ultra-low carbon steel with low capital costs for implementation in production and operating costs for the treatment of oxidizing mixtures; selection of rational design of blowing devices for injection of oxidizing gas mixture; development of technology of finishing alloying of steel at the stage of casting into ingots to increase the degree of assimilation of alloying elements and varying the chemical composition of steel at the stage of casting. The results of research can be used for the production of quality steels at metallurgical enterprises that do not have traditional high-cost units for deep decarburization of steel such as AOD-converter, VOD or RH-OB type vacuum cleaners, etc. The developed technology of finishing alloying of steel can be used at the enterprises which are focused on production of steel of wide high-quality assortment of especially small orders.
