The methodical bases of professionalization of pedagogical staff in the field of adult education are substantiated, which are expressed at the level of three interrelated concepts: monitoring, educational-methodical, resource, technological. The system of professionalization of pedagogical staff in the field of adult education is theoretically substantiated, which embodies a functional, flexible set of interconnected components / elements that create optimal conditions and opportunities for the development of andragogical competence of the target group. During the formative experiment (first stage) in order to develop andragogical competence of pedagogical staff in the field of adult education, the activity of centers of andragogical skills of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers was initiated. The positive dynamics of indicators of medium and high levels of formation of andragogical competence of pedagogical staff in the field of adult education at the first stage of the formative experiment is revealed. The results of the analysis made it possible to conclude about the feasibility of: improving the content component of the technology of development of andragogical competence of teaching staff in the field of adult education in non-formal education; expanding areas and making adjustments to the work plans of centers of andragogical skills; introduction of scientific and methodological support for the development of andragogical competence of the target group at the second stage of the formative experiment.
