The dynamics of business processes of the XXI century is accompanied by a significant increase in information volume, which is received, processed, and produced by a company. This has led to the formation of large volumes of information, which has received its own name in the digital economy - Big Data (large arrays of information). Effective work with Big Data directly influences on the level of information and cybersecurity of both individual businesses and the state as a whole. Modern audit is characterized by a significant, much larger quantitative increase in information volume, which requires appropriate changes in the methods of its processing. The concept of digital audit implies the procedural support of an auditor's work in a rapid (with a different order of numbers) growth of accounting information to the estimated 175 zetabytes in 2025. Digital audit transformation is a gradual and evolutionary transition from traditional implementation of audit procedures to a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of relevant information using software, which allows visualizing the necessary data. It is the basis of visualized information that the auditor identifies problematic, high-risk, and dangerous areas of accounting and information support of the business entity. The use of digital audit by companies improves the quality of work and creates added value for business. The use of technology during the audit of public and private companies increases transparency, improves the risk assessment system, automates routine processes and generally improves the audit quality.
