The purpose of research. To establish the peculiarities of the formation of agrophysical properties and water regime of the soil for intensive agriculture in the agro-landscapes of the Forest-Steppe. Research methods - field experiment, laboratory, mathematical and statistical, comparative and computational. The results of research - the peculiarities of the formation of agrophysical indicators, water regime, the state of physical and chemical properties of typical chernozem for cultivation: No-till, disking and plowing. It is determined that plowing, as the main tillage, has a number of unique advantages in contrast to No-till, disking - improving agrophysical properties, reducing specific moisture consumption, preserving humus and nutrients, protecting the soil from erosion.
