The purpose of the work is to improve the scientific and methodological principles of non-specific prevention of infectious diseases with the use of modern disinfectants. It has been established that pathogens of bacterial and viral infections prevalent in Ukraine and pathogens of nosocomial infections have medium and high resistance to disinfectants. The structure of nosocomial infections in Ukraine is determined. The required range of antimicrobial action, requirements and range of disinfectants to be used to control infections in modern conditions have been determined. The quantitative composition and distribution of funds registered in Ukraine by preparative forms and the declared scope are determined. The properties of modern disinfectants belonging to different groups of chemical compounds are analyzed. The requirements for disinfectants that can be used for disinfection of objects at Covid 19 are defined. Prepared "Guidelines for the selection of modern disinfectants for use in emergencies" and "GUIDELINES for disinfection measures for the prevention of infections caused by coronaviruses".
