L.M. Litvinenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  The catalytic activity of transition metal oxides Mn, V, Cu, W, Mo, Sb, supported on SiO2 and TiO2 in combination with the organocatalyst N-hydroxyphthalimide in aerobic oxidation of C – H bonds under mild conditions, has been investigated. It was found that the most effective systems are MnOx + NHPI and VOx + NHPI, where there is a synergistic effect. A mechanism of homogeneous-heterogeneous catalysis has been proposed, where an essential role is played by the formation of radicals with the participation of NHPI on the TMT surface and the subsequent NHPI catalysis of chain propagation reactions in the liquid phase. The reactions of С - Н bonds in sulfuric acid solutions of Mn (III)/Mn (II) and Pd (II) have been investigated. The participation of radicals in these processes is analyzed. Shown is the catalytic activity of the synthesized magnetoseparable catalyst - Fe3O4, in the Fenton system. The catalytic activity of the TMO - NHPI systems in the oxidation of benzyl alcohol and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural has been studied. It was shown that the most active system is with Mn-containing oxide.
