The existence of two mechanisms of interpretation is proved - hermeneutics and heuristics, which opens up the prospect of highlighting intuition as an alternative to deduction and induction. The phenomenological principle of eidetic reduction gives grounds for constructing a special intuitionistic logic, so-called mereology, where the part-whole relationship is an alternative to predication, the rhythm and harmony of the text appear as levels of artistic abstraction, and the individual elements of the text become holographic records, revealing multidimensionality and remote connections. Accordingly, in the inner space of text, the objectification (constitution) of images takes place as the basis of eidetic thinking, which reveals the subject-object feedback, defining the relationship "text - epoch" and covering cross-cultural research, dialogue of cultures as special subjects. Phenomenology provides an adequate mechanism for describing and analyzing the historical life of cultural texts, and thus is a tool of historical knowledge of culture, providing ways to identify alternatives in culturogenesis. The key concept of mediation allows the study of cultural and historical phenomena as their interpretation based on reflection on alternative ways of culturogenesis. Phenomenology appears as a metatheory of culturology, the source of its research methods. The implementation of the work allows to identify previously unnoticed meaningful meanings in cultural phenomena, to trace the life of cultural phenomena in the context of socio-historical reality.
